EDITING, PROOFREADING AND TRANSLATING (FRENCH TO ENGLISH) Is English your second language? Do you know the content but struggle with the grammatical aspect of writing essays? Do you simply need a second opinion on what you’ve written? Do you need someone to look over your business documents before sending them out to clients? Whether it’s website content, letters, advertising material or other business documents, correct grammar is crucial if you want to make a good first impression. I offer editing, proofreading and translation services (English to French) for businesses and students. I am a native English speaker and have studied French for 10 years. I understand what it’s like to be a student and especially what it’s like to write essays, having done a four year Arts degree. Often you’ve read over your work so many times that by the time you get to the final proofread you’ve lost a lot of motivation and fail to pick up on simple spelling or grammatical errors. I want to help! Sometimes the difference between an A and an A+ is simply cleaning up the sentence structure in your written work. I have worked as a Court Monitor and have trained as an Audio Typist. Both these positions require sound knowledge of grammatical rules and have enabled me to fine tune my attention to detail. I have also previously worked as a receptionist and have actively worked on proofreading promotional material. I accept documents in Microsoft Word (any version is fine) and all corrections are made using Track Changes. Pricing for editing/proofreading (for students): - Your first proofread piece (500 words or less) is FREE - Normal prices are $25 per 500 words for a 5 day turnaround or $30 per 500 words for a 2 day turnaround - I also offer paraphrasing (please contact me for a quote) Pricing for editing/proofreading (for businesses): - Please contact me for a quote Pricing for translation; - approximately $50 per hour.
