I am a newly qualified primary teacher located in Botany (Sydney). I am currently working casually as a teacher in local primary schools. Since 2009 I havr spent time working and volunteering at a number of schools, which have included me supporting teachers in literacy centres, assisting students with classwork, ethics teaching and working 1 on 1 with ESL (English as a Second Language) and Indigenous students. I have also worked as a private tutor (primary) since 2010. I believe that every student should receive specialised attention and tuition that suits their own individual educational needs. I create a supportive environment and encourage students to question, explore and think critically and creatively. Before commencing tuition I sit down with you and your child to work out a suitable learning plan. I have a full drivers license and my own transport. Please contact me for my availability. Hobbies
I enjoy anything creative and artistic. I majored in fine arts at uni, with a focus on sculpture. I often visit galleries and exhibitions and also attend local art classes when I find the time. I enjoy riding my bike, walking my two dogs and exploring new places. I love animals, writing, reading and films.
