Experience
In addition to being a professional freelance designer, I run my own business training and teaching students and business professionals various design-related skills and courses. I specialize in HSC Design and Technology, Visual Art, Adobe Creative Suite, and graphic and web design/visual communication. In Adobe Creative Suite, I understand how difficult it can be to learn these programs without guidance. I thrive on catering my lessons to each individual so that they can achieve their goals in mastering illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I teach students on both Mac and PC platforms and offer ongoing lessons as well as crash courses. I tutor several design students with graphic design and visual communication students, including those studying degrees in visual communication and interior design to fashion design and fashion marketing. I believe by pointing them in the right direction, providing support through feedback, and critiquing in a personal and committed environment; they can learn and grow much quicker than they would in only a classroom setting. In particular, I cover areas like typography, editorial publishing, website design, layouts, vector graphics, design thinking, and portfolios. In HSC Design and Technology/Visual Art, I have been tutoring for the past few years. I have tutored numerous 11th and 12th-grade students in HSC Design and Technology and HSC Visual Arts. I cover both practical and theory components of the NSW syllabus. I've also had many of my students nominated and exhibited in the state exhibitions at the end of the year, such as ArtExpress and SHAPE.
