Ziad R.
Private tutor in Sydney, Australia
Education
I was a high-achieving student in high school where I graduated from the International Baccalaureate program, the Australian HSC equivalent. I then earned my Bachelor of Medical Science (Advanced) with distinction as an Anatomy and Physiology major. I earned my BSc in Advanced Medical Science. I'm a current PhD candidate at Western Sydney University with an APA scholarship. My field of research is Neuroscience, Physiology of Pain, and excitable cells as well as Biochemistry.
Experience
I have five years of experience tutoring maths for ages year 9 up through university level. I have four years of experience teaching Essential Chemistry 1 and 2 and Introductory Chemistry at the university level, both privately and for the university. I've taken Mathematics 1A and Essential Chemistry 1 and 2 and earned 90%. My father was a teacher and raised me to have the commitment to helping others excel in their studies. Nothing makes me happier than a student coming to me with their top marks. I have been tutoring since year 10.

Hobbies
Basketball was the most popular sport where I was raised and I still play it whenever I have the time. Table tennis is a university-instigated interest that acted as a stress releif for the first few years of university... I'd love a challenge so you'll almost always see me at the table tennis comp throughout the semester at campbelltown campus. Rock climbing, snow boarding, dirt bike riding, archery, abseiling and sky diving are sports/hobbies I love to do again whenever the opportunity is open.
