I hold an LTCL Diploma in Piano. I studied IB Chinese B HL, English A1 SL, Psychology HL, Chemistry SL, Mathematics SL, and Music HL. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney.

Experience

I achieved 800 on the SAT Subject Test in Chinese with Listening. I scored 20 out of 20 on the IB Music Performance. I earned the Mary Bromwich Memorial Prize for the Highest Grade in Examinations for Piano. In year 12 I earned prizes for Mandarin Higher Level and Music Higher Level. I enjoy sharing the things I love, so tutoring is a great opportunity for me to do so. I hope to be able to provide support and practical help for my students. Music and Chinese are my strongest subjects. I am a fluent Mandarin speaker and have been playing piano and studying musicianship for 15 years. I have a solid understanding of both areas and can explain ideas clearly. I have a strong understanding of the IB curriculum and have useful notes to help with students' understanding. I am also willing to answer any questions about the SATs, IB in general, or any other areas.

Hobbies

Music, food and travelling! Exploring, listening and playing music is a must for me. I like to try out different instruments and look into different musical genres for leisure. I'm also a big foodie and love to travel. My favourite past time is to try new cafes, restaurants, pop-up stores for a variety of brunch foods, desserts or fusion-style cuisines. I was raised in 4 different cities, so I travel routinely.
