Education

I received an ATAR of 99.4 (IB 42) and have been tutoring IB students for 5 years! I graduated from an International Studies Degree majoring in Development Studies in 2019 with distinction. Completed the International Baccalaureate in 2014 at St Paul's Grammar school, studying HL English, HL Geography, SL Studies Maths, ab initio Spanish, Environmental Systems and societies, HL Theatre and Theory of Knowledge. During uni I spent 6 months on exchange in Mexico, putting my Spanish and taco-eating skills into practice! I now work at a tech start-up and absolutely love being part of a high-paced environment, but still really enjoy tutoring and helping year 11 & 12 students achieve goals they didn't think they could.

Experience

Since 2016 I have been tutoring students from 7 to 17 years old, however I'm currently only focusing on International Baccalaureate students as an all-round tutor. For me, the main focus of tutoring is learning how to work smarter not harder, and proving to yourself what you're capable of. If you do both those things, not only will the marks come but you will also be able to enjoy your last years of school, and will avoid the stress & all-nighters that can ruin the experience. For me the focus is teaching all the skills, habits & tools that go into nailing the IB, Uni or any job you'll ever have, while still having time to live your life.

I love all sports - netball, touch football, swimming & gym and I'm an absolute travel addict.
