Education

I earned my Bachelor of Architectural Design from the University of Queensland where I graduated with a GPA of 5.7 in 2014. I went on to earn my Master of Architecture from the University of Sydney where I graduated with a GPA of 6.75 in 2017. I received high distinctions and distinctions for my work.

Experience

I am a hard worker and love all things architecture. Additionally, I was awarded Dean's Commendations for Academic Excellence in 2014, 2016, and 2017 for my architectural projects and the Ethel M. Chettle Prize in Architecture. Subjects I completed at university cover all aspects of architectural design, architectural history, contemporary architecture buildings and architects, architecture documentation, and architectural business. In terms of software programs, I have advanced knowledge of Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lumion, and InDesign. I have also briefly used Rhino. I laser cut the majority of my projects so I can assist with the logistics of setting up the templates and getting the software to work correctly. I am currently working in the industry at a medium-scale architecture firm. Working on small public works, from commercial buildings to master plans, I enjoy learning a variety of skills from these different scale projects. I am looking to tutor Bachelor of Architecture students, as I have completed the Bachelor myself and feel that I have enough knowledge to help. I am open to tutoring master's students also.

Hobbies

I am very passionate about architecture and love the degree, and the industry. It's a tough degree, with many hours and a huge work load. My goal is to provide a bit of relief - extra help on assignments, a second opinion to guide your designs, or to show you how to use the many software programs. I also hope to inspire students a little - if aspects of the degree are difficult I want to help, so that the work becomes more enjoyable. I would prefer to meet you in a public library, or cafe, rather than each of our respective homes but can be flexible in necessary.
