Education
I am currently a fourth-year medical student at the University of Sydney. In 2016, I completed a Bachelor of Medical Science, also at the University of Sydney. This degree culminated with an honors project investigating a novel detection and monitoring method for highly aggressive brain tumors, for which I was awarded the University Medal. I maintained a High Distinction average for my entire degree, ending with a SciWAM of 88. Prior to this, I also completed a degree in Communications (Journalism) and International Studies (Chile) at the University of Technology Sydney and worked for several years as a journalist before deciding to re-embark on a new educational journey.
Experience
I offer high-performance GAMSAT Tutoring. I achieved an overall score of 87 (74-78-98) in the GAMSAT. With over 8,000 hours of tutoring experience in the past seven years, my work is focused on developing strong reasoning skills and refining high-level knowledge. I tutor for all three sections but focus primarily on scientific reasoning strategies and knowledge organization. I can also help students develop advanced essay writing skills and socio-cultural insights. You can expect me to be on time, prepared, and with a complete mastery of the relevant content and information.
