I am a fifth-year Commerce/Law student, studying at the University of Sydney. I graduated from MLC School Burwood in 2014 with an IB score of 43 (ATAR equivalent 99.7) I am presently working as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Business School at the University of Sydney.
Experience
I have five years experience tutoring IB Maths Studies and English. As a commerce student, I am able to assist generally with any Business content. I also provide my students with assistance and feedback on any Internal Assessments and their Extended Essays. During my tutoring sessions, I ensure my students thoroughly understand the course material and facilitate the application of this knowledge to past exam questions. I focus on improving student's exam technique so that they know exactly how to approach exams. I have a bank of all Maths Studies past papers which I like to go through with my students during the session or set for homework. My IB results were as follows: - Business & Management HL - 7 - Mathematical Studies SL - 7 - Italian Ab Initio - 7 - English A1 HL - 7 - Biology - 6 - History HL - 6 - TOK/EE (Business & Management) - Full marks for both The majority of my past students have been MLC School and Trinity Grammar School students, thus I know relevant texts and preferred styles for these schools particularly well. Notwithstanding this, I am open to meeting students from other IB schools.
