Education

I completed the International Baccalaureate with a perfect score of 45 (ATAR equivalent of 99.95). I am currently completing a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at The University of Sydney. I was awarded The University of Sydney Scholar Chancellor's Award and Scholarship in 2018-2020. I was also awarded the Senate Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement in 2018. I was the recipient of the W.A Barton Scholarship for Academic Merit at St. Andrew’s College within the University of Sydney in 2018-2020. I am also a Dalyell Scholar for the University of Sydney. I am also a paralegal in the Litigation team at the prestigious law firm Allen & Overy.

Experience

I have extensive tutoring experience as I have been tutoring students ranging from year 5 to 12 since the beginning of 2018. All of my 15 past students improved drastically over the course of our time together, as seen in their assessments and parent feedback. All of my 8 HL English IB tutoring students have a received a band 7. I have also supported younger students, for example one student in year 7 improved from a grade C to a grade A with a perfect score in term 1. Every IB student I have tutored has received an ATAR over 99. During my lessons, I ensure that my student has a solid understanding of all the core concepts before applying them to past paper-type questions. I adopt a flexible approach to tutoring, tailoring each session to fit the needs of my students best. I assess each student's areas of strength and areas that need improvement. I then strategically work with the student to increase their confidence in these identified areas. While I understand the importance of preparing my students extensively for assessments and exams, I believe it is also important to have a calm, relaxed, and open environment. This allows my students to feel comfortable asking any question and keeping them engaged and motivated for future study.

I am now part of the Elite Athlete Program at the University of Sydney as a 1st Grade Hockey player. I consider myself a highly motivated and hardworking individual with strong communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail and a passion for both teaching and learning.
