Education
In 1995, I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sydney with a specialization in Classics. I then went on to complete a Master of Arts degree specializing in Classics, as well as a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in Teaching World Languages, both in Kentucky in 2006.
Experience
Since 2004, I have been teaching all primary and secondary school levels of Latin, from Latin I to AP Latin, as well as several levels of Ancient Greek in the United States of America. I have returned to my native Australia and greatly look forward to the flexibility and the delight of working with individuals or small groups for tutoring sessions on classical language learning. What sets me apart from others is that I am a fluent Latin speaker and writer. Whether you want to learn Latin or Greek, regardless of the level of study you are at, I have the skills, experience, and expertise to provide you with quality academic support and guidance in private and personalized tutoring sessions.

Hobbies
Classics are my abiding passion. Tolkein had a hand in kicking my initial interest into overdrive, but starting Latin and Greek aged 11 at North Sydney Boys' was like coming home when you did not know you had ever left. I spent decades as a senior software engineer, but switched to teaching to do something truly important. I love cooking from a wide range of cultures and have cooked and eaten things of which others have only dreamt.
