Experience

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne and CSIRO. I am also a part-time teaching associate at The University of Melbourne. I have been tutored maths, physics, chemistry, and biology at both high school and university levels since 2008. I have also tutored for Section 3 of the GAMSAT, UCAT, GRE, and SAT. Other areas I have tutored include statistics, EduTest, ACER selective school entry tests, and the Australian physics Olympiad and Australian biology Olympiad. I am a member of the Australian Education Union and Independent Education Union. THE STYLE OF MY TUTORING: Helping students to understand the concepts and theories thoroughly is my highest priority. I thus try to explain the concepts and theories to be learned in the session by different methods, such as verbally description, graphically representation, numerically demonstration and algebraically symbolism. Students also have opportunities to apply the the concepts and theories in questions. After each session, I will provide customised notes, summary of topics based present study design, home work for students to practise, questions from past exam papers in topics in after lessons. MY FEE SCHDULE: A free trial Zoom session for 15 minutes. The hourly RATES for one-to-one tutoring: – $95 for university subjects – $90 for high school subjects - $ 85 for primary school subjects The Discount for bulk payments for one to one tutoring only – A $50 discount will be given for the bulk payment of ten hours for one-to-one tutoring. The hourly charge per person for group tutoring for primary and high school subject: – $55 for the group two – $45 for the group of three – $40 for the group of four or more The hourly charge per person for group tutoring for university subject: – $60 for the group of two – $50 the group of three – $45 for the group of four or more The Rate for casual consultation: – $120 for the first hour – $95 per hour after the first hour For GAMSAT tutoring, how the session runs is totally determined by my clients' needs. Some students only ask me to answer the questions they find difficult. I normally first explain the concepts and theories that are frequently tested and then use the GAMSAT Section 3 sample questions to show how to solve the questions. Finally, I show the recounts of the questions tested in the past years.

Hobbies

Dr_Luke is online now and helps your dreams come true any time, anywhere. You will find learning online effective, I am wondering whether it is convenient for you to have the tutoring at and enjoyable. I like cycling in spring, swimming in summer, jogging in autumn, and skating in winter, as my home town has four distinct seasons. After the long and biting cold winter, cycling to rural areas is a marvelous way to spend a weekend. Its summer is short, one can only swim in a rive for about a month. Its autumn is lovely as leaves turn yellow and red. I thus like Melbourne's weather, four seasons a day! I can do whatever I like.
