I studied at Dalhousie University to earn my Bachelor of Art in Psychology. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Arizona. In 2018, I earned my Master of Speech-Language Pathology at Sydney University.

I am proficient in English and Arabic. I spent two years working as a pediatric Speech Pathologist overseas, specializing in ADHD, ADD, disability for children from the ages of 1 to 9, and adolescents between 15 and 19. I have eight years of experience working with children in both clinical and educational settings. I hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check, as well as completed First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection training. I am a student member of Speech Pathology Australia. I completed placements at Sydney Children's Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, and Orange Healthcare Services. While completing my undergraduate degree, I tutored AP Psychology and Neuroscience, as well as English and science students from year 1 to 4.
