I received my Master of Science in geography and environment from the University of Dhaka. I also received my Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. I am presently pursuing my Ph.D. from the University of Newcastle in Australia.
Experience
I am a casual academic at the School of Environmental and Life Sciences at the University of Newcastle. I have also been a tutor at the University of New England. I am an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ). I tutor statistics. One of the statistical concepts that we can go over is probability distributions. In data science, when dealing with probability it is customary to use a value of 1 to signify that an event will occur, and a value of 0 to signify that an event won't occur. A probability distribution will show the various possible results from an experiment and the likelihood that they will occur using the aforementioned scale. There are many different possible probability distributions that can occur within a given dataset.
