I am in my final year of my Master of Professional Engineering (Chemical and Biomolecular) at the University of Sydney. I hold a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Finance, from the University of Western Australia. Within these degrees, I have studied at leading universities in the US, namely UCLA and UC Irvine.
Experience
I have been tutoring independently for 7 years. I am taught high-school students in Maths, Science, English, Social Sciences and Music. I have experienced a range of teaching styles and tutors during my secondary and tertiary education, which helps me to educate student with diverse foundations and backgrounds. I have been awarded a research scholarship in Molecular Biology and medical research appointments in Sydney and Seattle (US). I have achieved the Dean's excellence award for academic achievement in Engineering at the University of Sydney. I achieved a Top-of class score of 100% for Sustainable Systems Design. I was top of subject in high-school courses: Math Specialist 3A/B, Maths 3A/B, Physics 3A/B and Music 3A/B. My ATAR was 96.25. I am passionate about STEM, education and development of skill. Hobbies
I love playing Guitar and listen to Jazz music when I study. Outside of my study, research and work, I read about aviation and aerodynamic advances. I am fascinated by this industry and how it will shape the future of humanity. Fitness and exercise is also very important to me. I love to play sports, including rugby union, AFL and tennis. I believe that productive hobbies outside of studies play a big role in achieving success at high-school and in university.
