Education
I received both my bachelor's and master's in environmental engineering from the Dalian University of Technology. I obtained my PhD in chemical engineering from the University of New South Wales.
Experience
I am a recent Ph.D. graduate from the UNSW and I would like to use my spare time to do some tutoring since I find this a meaningful thing to do. I have two years of previous tutoring experience in high school math, chemistry, and physics. As a result of my efforts, one of my student's test scores increased from below 50/100 to above 80/100. I'm currently tutoring Chinese. I get told by people a lot that I am teacher material since I am always very patient and can explain things clearly. As a student myself, I did well in school and university. My university entrance exam was taken in China within the Chinese education system; I scored 636 out of 750. My undergraduate GPA was 92 out of 100. Also, I won the first prize in a calculus competition my first year in university. If you need help with math, physics, chemistry, or Mandarin, don't hesitate to contact me. And of course, I can explain things in Mandarin if required or preferred.
