Education
I have a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle. I have a Graduate Diploma of Education for teaching physics, chemistry, and mathematics from Macquarie University. I have a Certificate in Applied Chemistry from Newcastle TAFE.
Experience
I am an experienced high school teacher with over 15 years of experience in elite private schools. I have nurtured the talents of many students over the years and inspired them to be very successful. I use evidence-based techniques based on the works of John Hattie and apply the latest feedback given by HSC markers necessary to achieve high ATARs. I received excellent marks in school. I earned Band 6's in HSC Physics and Chemistry and Band 7's in IB Physics. I am also a BOS Marker. I have prepared gifted and talented students for Olympiads and many of my students have achieved ATARS of around 99.7%. I help students look at problems in methodical, excellent ways. I aim to guide them with the detail they need to obtain maximum marks in their exams.
