Education
I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Trent University, Canada; a Master of Science from the University of Sydney; and a Master of Education from the University of Sydney. In addition, I obtained my doctorate in science education from Curtin University.
Experience
I have taught mathematics and science for the past 30 years and teach at the primary and secondary school levels. I can cover topics in biology, including cell biology and evolutionary biology, as well as physics and science in general. If your student needs help in improving their writing skills, I can offer instruction and practice to help them reach the next level or catch up in their class. I can tutor in reading comprehension as well to help your student acquire skills they will need going forward. My tutoring sessions consist of one-on-one guidance and discussion that is tailored to the student's learning style and specific subjects they are having the most difficulty in. I can work with them until each topic is better understood, while welcoming any questions they have.
