I have about one year of private tutoring experience. I'm fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and English, and I can teach in whichever language you or your student would prefer. I also really enjoy teaching students and slowly learning more about them, making their study time more efficient and also personalized to suit individuals' needs. For instance, I wouldn't approach sessions for a visual learner the same way I would for a verbal learner. I feel comfortable tutoring several different subjects, including K-12 mathematics, guitar, Mandarin, and Cantonese. I can also help students study for high-stakes assessments such as AP Chinese and the SAT Subject Test in Chinese with Listening. I understand that many students find the subjects I tutor challenging, and I will always allow you to progress at your preferred pace. Whether you wish to expand your Chinese lexicon or need help working with logarithmic functions, I will provide the support you need to pursue your full potential!
