Education
I am currently studying for a combined Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney and have received First-Class Honours in English Literature. I received two scholarships for my English studies and came first in ENGL2640 Shakespeare. Before university, I completed the PYP, MYP, and DP IB programs, sitting the former two in Singapore and the last in Australia.
Experience
I have two years of IB and HSC tuition in English and other subjects, placing students in the top ten in their year. I placed first in Shakespeare at the University of Sydney, and I am a 2017 James Coutts Early English Literature Scholar. I have written a 15,000-word thesis on the Old English poem, Beowulf. Because of my skills and experience, I can provide top-notch instruction that is tailored to the needs of individual students. I can incorporate a number of useful teaching techniques while helping students with the skills and concepts that are most important to them.
