In 2018, I finished the IB Diploma Program at Gems Wellington Academy. I achieved 7 on HL History and SL Maths Studies, and a 5 in HL English Literature A and Psychology SL. I scored 6 in HL Spanish B and Technology SL. I also scored an A on the Extended Essay and C on the TOK. I majored in economics and marketing at the University of Sydney. I achieved high distinctions in Introductory Microeconomics and Distinctions in Introductory Macroeconomics and Marketing Principles.
Experience
In 2016, I worked as a part-time GCSE tutor at the Gems Wellington Academy Silicon Oasis. I taught Edexcel Maths to students on a 1-on-1 basis, providing additional resources to support my students. I assisted in identifying their weaknesses throughout a two-year course and achieved outstanding results from my students. In 2017, I was a part-time IB tutor at the same institution. I taught IB History HL, IB Spanish HL, and IB Maths Studies SL to three students, both in groups and individually. I assisted with homework and coursework, as well as monitored their performance to provide additional help as needed. The following year, I worked as a part-time tutor at the University of Sydney, where I taught Introductory Microeconomics, Introductory Macroeconomics, and Marketing Principles to six students on an individual and group basis. I designed lesson plans for each student and the group, as well as provided additional support and resources.
