I am a professional offering tutoring services in the fields of statistics, probability, biostatistics, econometrics, optimisation, actuarial methods and quantitative finance. I hold a PhD in Statistics and a PhD Minor in Finance from S t a n f o r d. I help with tests, hws, presentations, articles review, advanced research, big programming projects, business-related projects and data analysis in any of the major statistical packages (R / R Studio, Python, Matlab, Stata, SPSS & AMOS, EViews, SAS, JMP, Minitab). As my experience shows (see the section below), I work with all types of clients, from undergraduate students to full professors in other fields. I conduct real-time tutoring sessions (hourly rate) or provide detailed analysis + code + write-up via e-mail (fixed fee). The effective hourly rate depends on the level of material.
Experience
During my 5 years at the graduate school I taught more than 10 undergraduate, master's level and PhD level probability and statistics courses. After graduation, for more than 10 years, I have been working in the industry focusing on projects in machine learning, time series analysis, data compression, computational statistics, stochastic optimization, financial engineering, systematic trading and risk management. Equally importantly, I have tutored students and business professionals in all areas of statistics and quantitative finance for the last 9 years.
