IB Diploma: Band 7 in English Literature HL, Economics HL, Biology HL, Music SL, Italian Ab Initio and a Grade A in EE (English). --- For piano: AMEB LMusA, Grade 6 Musicianship. --- I have had years of experience in tutoring primary school levels, culminating in several of my students performing exceedingly well in selective school/OC exams, NAPLAN and scholarship entrance exams. --- The key to success in the IB is striking a balance between three key skills; thorough learning, consolidation and effective application to past paper questions. --- Alongside my extensive collection of questionbanks and study notes, I will walk through each step of the process with you; first by breaking down the content to ensure full understanding, then through regular consolidation with past papers to provide the examiners with what they are seeking. Having worked with primary/high school aged students, I have developed skills of flexibility and communication that can easily adapt to suit your learning strengths and target your weaknesses. --- It is my belief that with effective study technique, a strong work ethic and clear guidance from a reliable mentor, there is no reason why a band 7 should be unachievable. --- On top of our sessions, I am happy to provide detailed feedback on essay submissions, IA guidance as well as helpful IB advice! :) ---
