I've helped friends to understand how to find the answers themselves in maths classes, I've taught them how to make an essay more convincing. I'm a part of a group on facebook that helps students from my old Highschool in any class they're struggling in. I want to be a tutor because I want to be a highscool teacher in 6-8 years and I believe tutoring will be an excellent solution to others needing help in school and my own need for experience. I want to be a teacher because I cherish learning and knowledge and it pains me to see others without the same benefits I had. I completed year 12 taking Maths A, Maths B, Physics, Senior English, PE and CMI (Contemporary Music Industry). I currently take a class outside of school where I learn how to better teach from the bible and I have taught many sermons and spiritual lessons at my weekly church. I would not use any religious knowledge to tutor but there are teaching skills I can bring across from that experience. I have a letter of recommendation from my high school English Teacher that speaks quite highly of me, both as an academic and as a person, I would be happy to e-mail you a copy.

Hobbies
I love reading and writing, English is a wonderful language. I love listening to and performing music, my life would not be complete without it. I love exercise, I work at a gym in Kensington where I help teach a cardio class. I enjoy playing video games but it doesn't take up much of my time. I am a strong christian but I believe in religious freedom and my beliefs would not effect my teaching methods or my lesson plans. I love the Japanese language and culture (I am just a beginner, studying it at UNSW) and enjoy watching 'anime'.
