I have a dual law and science degrees from New Zealand and also a post-graduate qualification in a specialised area of law. I worked for a number of years in the UK, Singapore, Australia and NZ where I have mentored a number of junior lawyers. In the process I have taught them how to: - improve their writing skills relating to complex topics by identifying the main issues, communicating clearly and without ambiguity, and - by developing analytical skills to delve to the main issues. Many of these skills are not explicitly taught at many universities but are vital!
