I graduated second in my class with an MBA from the Graduate School of Management at the University of Melbourne in 1991. I also earned a bachelor's in Commerce and Administration from Victoria University in 1979.
Experience
I have tutored students at the Graduate School of Management particularly in Finance, Accounting, and report/essay writing. I have also lectured at Monash University (Melbourne) in Treasury Management. My executive coaching programs focus on developing commercial acumen and interpersonal awareness in CEOs, their direct reports, and "high potential" employees. Over a 30-year career, I have held a variety of executive, leadership, and consulting roles in some of Australia's leading public companies. Since 1991, my responsibilities have included Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestments, strategic planning, business restructuring and integrations, operations management, finance, and executive coaching. For example, I gained experience handling sensitive political and environmental issues as CEO of North Forest Products, was responsible for corporate acquisitions totaling more than $4 billion in value as a management consultant, and negotiated with the government and various community groups in multiple capacities. I will use all of this experience to help my students pursue their goals!
