Education
I earned my bachelor's in Economics with Econometrics at the University of Kent. I obtained my master's in Economics at the same institution. I am a candidate for a Ph.D. in Economics and Management.
Experience
I speak several languages, including English, Mandarin Chinese, Hokkien Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, and Malay. I have a variety of teaching experiences spanning more than 15 years, as well as professional experience as an accountant. I taught Economics, Business Statistics, and Finance at the University of Technology in Sydney, Finance and Economics at Western Sydney University, and Business at Sydney University. I also taught at Taylor's Business School at Taylor's University in Malaysia. I have received many commendations, including a Letter of Commendation for student evaluations, the Dean's Citation in Tutoring Excellence, and the Outstanding Contribution in Teaching and Learning Award. While at UTS, I coordinated a Weekly Centre of Learning Maths and Numeracy Workshop as well.
