I enjoy tutoring students so that I can bring out he best possible results. I believe that you do not have to be born a genius to achieve high results, just that you need the commitment and the guidance. This guidance I can provide as I will provide to achieve these high-end results. I can provide worksheets and notes. I structure lessons in a professional, ordered, easy to understand manner. I target weak areas to create an all-rounded student. I have the patience and empathy to help students of all academic ability. I am friendly and have well-developed people skills as I hope to make each tutoring session an enjoyable and rich experience. I have been tutoring since year 6 where I was a private tutor for younger primary aged students. I have also been paid by my former high school to help tutor high school students with the after school homework centre. I am also currently a Peer Tutor at university. This as a result, has provided me with a vast amount of experience. I as a student have many advantages over an adult tutor. For one, I have just finished the courses in which I will tutor in, thus resulting in the information still being fresh. I have also many effective and quality study notes available that have helped me to come first in course in many subjects. I have also been awarded ‘Certificate of Achievement’ through participation in the year-long Peer Tutoring Program. Through this participation, I have developed skills in assisting students with Literacy needs in the areas of reading and writing and also Numeracy skills.
