Education

I completed the Toastmasters Competent Communicator through Toastmasters Australia in 2012. I studied High Computing at the University of New South Wales. I went to Macquarie University to complete my Bachelor of Human Resource Management. I earned my degree in Data Management and Business Intelligence with Distinction at Swinburne University, where I also studied Information, Organizations, and Society and Systems Development. I received Distinctions in those as well. I also have taken a Microsoft course in Introduction to R for Data Science and earned my Microsoft Technology Associate in Database Fundamentals.

Experience

I have over five years of corporate experience in data analysis. I've taught Excel, SQL, and Python for over two years, both in workshops and privately. I teach beginners and advanced learners in Excel data analysis, SQL, R & Python, and report automation using any of these programs. I am skilled in business analysis, database administration, data analysis, and Python.

Everyone's learning goals are different so before each lesson I create a lesson plan and exercises that are tailored to your needs. In my lessons I generally guide students through progressively more challenging exercises that are created beforehand. I'm a strong believer of learn by doing so I like to make my lessons very practical with some theory just for understanding. I'm a catch and release teacher and most of my students don't need me for many lessons, my aim is to sell you all the tools you need to catch your own fish, not get as much money as I can out of you.
