I am currently pursuing an Engineering degree at UWS College, having transferred out of Ain Shams University in Egypt after one year.
Experience
I have classroom teaching experience in a variety of subjects, including Arabic, calculus, year 11 Physics, and a myriad of Australian year 11 and 12 courses. I am comfortable tutoring a variety of maths courses, including K-12 mathematics and calculus. I can also help with physics, general chemistry, and Arabic. Math is a cumulative subject, meaning that students need a strong grasp of the basics before moving on to more advanced material. I can backtrack to any foundational concepts you or your student need help with, setting you up for success when you return to grade-appropriate material. I also find that practice problems are a great way to identify what's going wrong if a student is struggling, allowing me to take appropriate corrective action. They also build self-confidence when a student answers them correctly!
