Education
I am currently studying to earn a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at the University of South Wales.
Experience
I am in my 5th and final year at the University of South Wales. Over the previous year, I completed my honors thesis, and right now, I am working on my master's thesis. My research is focused on implantable electrode technologies, specifically the bionic eye, and coating technologies to help integrate them into biological environments. Coming from a chemical engineering background, I have a good handle on process engineering and reaction systems, which I put into practice through an internship with Amcor, a large paper manufacturer. During this time, I was largely involved in the quality control end, which involved applying scientific methods in the dry lab to assess process conditions and product standards. I love engineering. I am happiest when I am taking scientific principles and methods and applying them to existing real-world systems to generate solutions to complex problems. I offer tutoring for mathematics years 7 through 10 and HSC, chemistry years 7 through 10 and HSC, and English years 7 through 10 and HSC 2U Advanced.
