Education
- I have recently completed a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Diploma. Not all HSC students are native speakers of English, and I'm now more able to tailor my lessons to these students. - I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons)/Bachelor of Laws at Australian National University (2012). - I achieved a UAI of 99.15 (2006), and studied English Extension 1 (48/50) and English Extension 2 (50/50).
Experience
I have several years experience providing private English tuition to high school students, both native and non-native speakers of English. So far, I've been able to assist students with a wide range of abilities - some are already achieving high grades, but want to boost their grades before their HSC exams. Some non-native speakers struggle to write in academic English. Some students find Year 11 or 12 a lot more difficult than they expected.
