Experience
I was a sailing coach for over eight years, as well as a high school tutor for two years. I am well-versed in psychology and willpower development, due to my degree. I can tutor students in several areas, including Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology. Throughout my study sessions, I can assess my pupil to keep them on track as they review the concepts which they find the most challenging. I can simplify the ideas and principles to present them in ways that my student can more readily absorb. I can tailor my teaching approach to align with my student's learning tendencies, as well as their interests, goals, and strengths. If my student is struggling to comprehend new applications of earlier concepts, we can go back and review the fundamentals until they feel confident.
