I graduated from MLC School Sydney in 2014 with an IB score of 44. I am currently studying to earn a bachelor's degree in law and economics at The University of Sydney.
Experience
I earned an overall 44 in IB. I scored 7 in Chemistry SL, Economics HL, Business and Management Hl, Mathematical Studies, and Italian Ab Initio. A 6 in English A1 HL, and a 3 in TOK/EE Business and Management. I have earned many academic prizes, including the 1st place prize for IB Chemistry SL at MLC School in 2014. I also earned 1st place prize for IB Mathematical Studies SL in 2014 and 1st place prize for IB Economics HL and IB Italian AB Initio SL at MLC School. In 2014, I was also the year 12 runner-up of Dux. My previous experience includes five years of experience in tutoring students in years 7 through 10 in math and English. I have three years of experience in tutoring 11th and 12th-grade students in IB subjects. I participated in cross-age peer tutoring at MLC in 2013 and 2014. During this time, I tutored students from 6th grade through 12th in a wide range of subjects. During my tutoring sessions, I focus on ensuring that the student understands the course material. I also want students to know how to apply this knowledge to solve any problem. I ensure that any questions or concerns the student may have are answered. For my 11th and 12th grade students, I also provide feedback on IA's. I know that every student learns differently, and I adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of each student.
