Education
I earned an MSc in Applied Physics from the University of Groningen in 2001 and a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the Delft University of Technology in 2005. I also hold a GCUT (Graduate Certificate University Teaching) that I received from the University of Melbourne in 2014.
Experience
I have supervised numerous RHD students throughout my research career in a University setting and am currently supervising/mentoring Ph.D. students at the University of Melbourne. I also have practical experience in lecturing at the tertiary level, which involved lecture preparation, assessment, writing and correcting exam questions, and so on. I coached a unisex netball team as well, so I understand how to connect with learners of multiple ages and ability levels. I am comfortable tutoring all levels of physics including quantum physics and every AP exam in the field. I can also help you with the mathematics that most physics courses entail.
