I received my Master of Science in Biotechnology and Business from the Macquarie University, North Ryde Campus, and my Bachelor of Science from St. Xavier's College, India with a major in Microbiology and a Minor in Physics and Chemistry.
Experience
I have four years of experience tutoring English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. I tutored students of that were between the ages of ten and sixteen. I took my TOEFL exam and scored 109/120 and I also scored 309/340 on my GRE. Prior to taking these exams, I studied for each of them for six months. I have worked as a freelance copywriter for "The Telegraph", a leading newspaper in India from March 2015 to the present. I also published three articles in the Young Metro Edition. I like tutoring because I feel I can impart my knowledge of detailed subjects to the students in a comprehensive and fun way. I have been both a home tutor as well as a teacher in coaching centers for 4 years now, and students seem to enjoy the learning in my classes. When I teach a particular topic, I try to give examples from daily life which makes the understanding easier. Under my guidance, pupils have received awards and certificates for creative writing, quizzes in mathematics and physics.
