I have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and a Ph.D. from The University of Sydney, where I researched granular physics.
Experience
An optimization engineer, I love physics and mathematics and I love teaching them. I have tutored six tertiary courses at the University of Sydney. Understanding of basic concepts is essential to master physics, mathematics and other engineering subjects. I mainly focus on this by using analogies, examples, intuitions, etc. when I teach. I am looking for students who don't hesitate to learn/study something that is interesting, and I'll try my best to make the subject interesting for them. I can help with engineering subjects like engineering mechanics, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, and hydrology. I can also help with computation and data science topics like scientific computing, data analysis, data visualization, statistics, and machine learning, along with programming in MATLAB, Python, R, D3, Leaflet, and C++. I can also help with discrete optimizations using Gurobi.
