Experience

My learning started young with my mum a Vietnamese Literature teacher convincing me to become a teacher from the first moments I can remember. All my life I’ve been tutored in Vietnamese by my mother in addition to conventional schooling. Towards the end of my high school days I started teaching English to younger students. Since adulthood I have had ten years experience passionately tutoring English speakers in Vietnamese and Vietnamese students in English. I have gained many insights to give you a full learning experience covering all the normal bases and also including many interesting differences between our languages. My Aussie family, gives me daily exposure to your culture, slang and colloquial language. I’m ready and willing to share all my insights gained with my students

Hi I am Vi, I’m a native to the south/central region of Vietnam, I love education and helping people learn and am looking forward to teaching more students my language. I’ve learnt to teach at Danang Uni Vietnam. I lecture in Business Logistics at QuyNhon Uni when I’m in Vietnam. (I make many trips back and forward). I was awarded a DFAT (Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) Scholarship in 2014 to do my Masters in Australia. Most of my time is spent teaching Vietnamese in Australia and English in Vietnam. A fluent speaker in Australian English, I have many insights into your language. This is also helped by my Australian and extended Australian family who unfortunately do not speak much Vietnamese. I make time in my diary to teach everyday. I offer Skype for those who haven’t got time to travel, and other on-line classes for those who want additional days or can’t schedule a regular weekly session.
