Education
I have a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages in English and Spanish (University of Cergy-Pontoise, France, year 2014). Main subjects were foreign civilizations (British, American, Spanish and Latin American history), oral presentations and translations in both languages (journal articles in economics, politics and tourism). While in Australia, I decided to change my career path and took a Masters Degree in Special Education at Torrens University Australia that I obtained in 2020.
Experience
I'd like to be a tutor because I think it's a fun and valuable job. It's a way to meet people and enables you to feel satisfaction when you help your students reach their goal and also improve their confidence. My native language is French, and I've been speaking Turkish since I was very little which made me a bicultural kid! This may explain why I have always been so keen to learn new languages and about different cultures. Living in a foreign country can be an overwhelming experience in so many different aspects so learning the language of the country is key to ensure a smoother access to the community. I can help in French, English and Spanish for beginners.
