Education

I graduated as Co-Dux and school vice-captain of MLC School in 2015. I am currently earning my bachelor's degree in medical sciences and Doctorate of Medicine at UNSW with a distinction average.

Experience

I earned a perfect IB score (45 out of 45) and 99.95 on the ATAR. I earned a Band 7 score for Maths HL, Economics HL, Biology HL, Chemistry SL, and English SL. On the economics extended essay, I earned an A. I scored in the 98th percentile on the UMAT. I have more than four years of private tutoring experience, teaching middle school maths, English, and science. I also tutored the IB subjects listed above. I understand the importance of having a strong network. I have personally found that the guidance from friends who were older than me was invaluable in keeping the IB in perspective, so I try to do the same for my tutees. Furthermore, balancing my studies with other interests was important in maintaining my motivation throughout the entire 2-year course. I encourage this same well-roundedness in my students as well. As a tutor, I am more than happy to tailor to the specific needs of each student. Having completed the IB in 2015, I am very familiar with the subject and what examiners want. I strongly believe that understanding content is more insightful and beneficial to learning than simple memorization. As a result, I have a vast outlet of learning resources such as exemplar IA's and organized notes that I can pass on to further support my student's learning.
