Experience

I have extensive tutoring experience in private and classroom settings, working with students from year 4 to year 12 HSC/IB. I have worked with teaching colleges to lead group classes, assisting the college directors in developing lesson material that adheres to a tailored curriculum. In teaching students of all backgrounds and abilities, I've developed a collection of resources and skills that allow me to tailor my approach to each student. As a student with a vested interest in research into History, Art, Literature, and Gender, I am constantly honing my skills in critical theory, research, and writing. I seek to communicate these things to my students, giving them the confidence to approach texts independently with a critical eye. Ultimately, I aim to equip each student with a set of skills that allows them to move successfully through their studies and beyond. **references available on request

Hobbies

I am passionate about art, music, and social history. These things frequently cross over into my community engagements - I'm currently working as a volunteer invigilator at Carriagework's 'The National'. I often find that I am able to pass down this knowledge to students, the knowledge of which can add an extra layer of depth and understanding that is particularly valuable in the HSC and IB. As a student myself, I continue to deal with the challenges of stressful deadlines, exams, and a heavy workload and so can provide study methods that are relevant and relatable.
