I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Wollongong. I have also completed a master's degree specializing in financial analysis at the University of New South Wales.
Experience
I have 8 years of experience working as an accounting tutor for both individuals and groups and have good references available. I teach using real-life examples and ensuring that students have a conceptual understanding that enables them to eventually study by themselves. My tutoring sessions are always student-centered, which means that my students always determine the pace at which they learn, as well as the topics and materials that we will cover together. This allows me to offer my students an encouraging learning environment where they can feel comfortable asking questions and tackling their specific challenges free of judgment. In addition to this, my students are able to benefit from the kind of individualized one-on-one attention and timeous responses to their questions that is not always accessible in the traditional classroom.
