I have a bachelor's degree in dental surgery and a master's degree in public health, with a focus on epidemiology. Currently, I'm working on a master's degree in social work.
Experience
I have a background in tutoring university students in health and medical subjects. Also a mental health peer advisor, I am eager to help cover a variety of subjects ranging from elementary school science to high school subject areas. I can teach biology, anatomy, nutrition, and public health concepts as well as meet your student's needs for summer tutoring. Working one-on-one with a student enables me to focus on their exact skill level and where their head is at. I can help strengthen their weakest subject areas and find ways to motivate and engage them in the material, using strategies that cater to their learning style and long-term goals. Questions are always welcome, and I can continue to adapt my strategy if the student struggles in any particular concept or area.
