Education
I attended Barker College from 2009 to 2015 and am currently pursuing a BMed/MD at UNSW. My ATAR was 99.95 at Barker and I scored in the 100th percentile on my UMAT.
Experience
I have been tutoring privately since the end of the HSC and have taken great pleasure in helping students work towards their goals. As a student who was tutored myself, I have experience from both sides of the relationship and an appreciation of what makes an effective tutor. I personally believe that the most important factors in academic success (especially in the HSC) are hard work, thorough preparation, and exam technique and will help students to excel in all three areas. Chemistry was my favorite subject in my HSC days and I have a comprehensive set of notes to share with my students. I have also compiled an extensive question bank that I use to teach test-taking strategies and problem-solving skills. I can also help students study for the UMAT and prepare for medical school interviews.
