Education
I have bachelor's degrees in Medical Science (Physiology) and Commerce (Marketing & International Business) from the University of Sydney. I also have an International Baccalaureate degree and a 96 ATAR. I studied English Literature A (High Level), Psychology (High Level), Biology (High Level), Visual Arts (High Level), Mathematical Studies SL, and French SL.
Experience
I have over six years of IB and HSC tutoring experience in English, Biology, Psychology and Visual Arts. My expertise lies in IB subjects, as I completed my IB Diploma in 2013, however am very familiar with the new syllabus. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, and I focus on building confidence, learning the right techniques, and equipping students with the tools to do well in assessments and exams. Following a Long-Term and Short-Term structure, we can focus on exam techniques, as well as tackling week to week assessments. I can teach English Literature A HL and SL, Biology HL and SL, Psychology HL and SL, and Visual Arts HL and SL in the IB curriculum. I can help students in years 7-10 with English and Biology. I have worked writing content for an E-Learning/tutoring website that offers comprehensive online tutoring for IB students in years 11 and 12.
