I attended graduate school at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia where I obtained a master's degree with a specialization in both applied linguistics and TESOL.
Experience
I have more than ten years of prior experience working as a tutor. I have the skills, expertise, and experience to provide interested students with quality private and personalized tutoring sessions in Mandarin Chinese, English, and Reading at various levels of study and abilities. My tutoring sessions are always student-centered, which means that my students always set the pace at which they learn, as well as the topics and materials that we will cover together. This helps me to create an environment that is conducive to learning and progress for my students. In addition to all of this, my private tutoring sessions give students the opportunity to benefit from individualized one-on-one attention, prompt answers to their questions, and regular feedback on their learning and progress.
