Carlo J.
Private tutor in Sydney, Australia
Education
I earned my Ph.D. in Climate Science - a research degree from the University of New South Wales in 2014. In June 2010, I earned a master's degree in atmospheric science - research and coursework from Ateneo de Manila University. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Systems - research and coursework and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics, both from Ateneo de Manila University.
Experience
I am currently tutoring math privately for a local company. Before that, I worked as an assistant instructor at Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City. I love explaining properly and sharing the practical side to the different subjects we are taught. Topics like physics and math all have obvious uses and have more to them than theory. Private tutoring can help whether you are falling behind in class or want to be challenged with higher-level material. You can get help with anything from test prep to coursework.

Hobbies
Programming, Board games, and reading novels. I think that educating should always be entertaining and interesting with a balance of rigour. Connecting subjects with our inclinations and interests make them easier to absorb and carry with us in the future. If possible, I like trying to integrate subjects to the students' lives for them to appreciate better.
