Education
I graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2014 with a total of 40 points. I achieved a score of 7 in English Literature HL, French B HL, and Environmental Systems and Societies. I wrote my extended essay in English Literature and scored an A. I also studied History SL, Economics HL, and Math Studies SL. I achieved a score of 6 in each of these courses. I now study a double Arts/ Law degree at Sydney University and I'm on track for an Honours degree. I've been studying Advanced French as a major for the last two years of my degree, so I am now well above the IB level.
Experience
For my community service requirements, I tutored students at my school in English and IB French. I still have all of my study notes from the IB, including from the OSC study course I took, which includes six thick booklets of French exercises and practise exams that aren't available online, stacks of annotations on English Lit works, and plenty of notes on IB History, including historiography, which you will definitely need! I'm very good at writing essays, and I wrote my extended essay with almost no guidance after my supervisor was switched out and I was told to change my topic a week before it was due. From the IB program and from university, I have extensive research, writing, and study skills that I would love to pass on to make your life a little easier than mine was.
