I am a neuroscience honors student at the University of Sydney. I have a combined degree in advanced science and arts, majoring in Latin, ancient history, and neuroscience. I graduated from Sydney Grammar School in 2013. I also studied Latin and neuroscience at the University of Bristol in the UK for a year on exchange.
Experience
I scored 99.00 on the ATAR. In Latin, I won the Nicholson Scholarship 1A for Latin from the University of Sydney in 2014. I was the top student in Latin 2A and Intermediate Latin 1. I was highly commended in the Australian Society for Classical Studies Greek and Latin Translation Competition. I earned high distinctions in all Latin university units, essays, and exams. I also earned Top Band in Latin continuers HSC and Latin Extension HTC in 2013. I was Top Band in Chemistry HSC, Top Band in Physics HSC, Top Band in Extensions Maths HSC, and second band in Extensions II Maths HSC. I earned distinctions in Biology and Chemistry Olympiads in 2012 and high distinctions in all university psychology units. I was the second student in Psychology - Brain and Behavior, and I was in the USyd Faculty of Science Talented Students Program.
