I have been tutoring or teaching in some capacity since 2010. I have helped multiple HSC students achieve Band 6 in their HSC Chinese and EAL/D subjects. I have always been passionate about being an educator ever since I was a young child. As a tutor, I strive to cater to the unique needs of each of my students. I am highly qualified with a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Education from UNSW, majoring in Chinese studies and minoring in English teaching and linguistics. I have been studying, researching and working in many fields of language studies and linguistics, such as Chinese and English language education, cultural difference and its influence on language acquisition, phonology, language ecology etc. In addition, I have worked at multiple local primary and high schools teaching ESL and Chinese. I have ten years of experience in tutoring ESL and Chinese. As an ex-international student, I am a native speaker of Chinese and have been learning English since primary school.
